Crawfish linguini, creamy with a hint of spice; tangy lemon squares, she loved anything lemon! Seeing the bluebonnets blowing in the breeze at the cemetery, feeling the warm embrace of friends at church. Stories, wiping away a tear, laughing. Talking with family, friends, more family; sitting by the warm glow of the fire in firepit. delicate butterfly wings flitting on the edge of the firepit, she loved butterflies!
I can’t believe it’s been a year since Mom took her last breath. I miss seeing her eyes shine as she smiled. I miss smelling her lotion, Cherry Blossom. I miss the sound of her voice saying, “Hi Honey!” I miss her hugs, soft and warm.
We are remembering her, we are loving her, we are healing and growing. Sending light and love to you my friends! JoBeth
